Where are you from originally?  Austin, TX

When did you begin working at Quality Seafood?  In August of 2011

Where did you work prior to working here? I was previously employed at Lowes and am currently enrolled in school.

What type of background or work experience did you have? I having been fishing since I was a child, and taught myself how to cut the fish I caught.

What do you love most about your job? I love the different kind of people I work with.

What is your biggest challenge on the job? The biggest challenge I face on a day too day basis is every fish I cut has a different body which makes cutting the fish difficult at times.

In your opinion, what makes Quality Seafood unique? Quality seafood is very unique because everyone is very down to earth and very easy to work with.

What’s your favorite menu item to order on your break at Quality Seafood? My all time favorite is a Black Drum salad with a double side of mac & cheese.

If you’re a monger, what’s your favorite fish to fillet? Why? My favorite fish to cut has to be Black Drum because I cut it all the time and I can see what Austin receives on a daily basis.

If you could give our customers one piece of advice when buying or cooking seafood, what would it be? One piece of advice I would give is to buy the freshest fish possible. And lucky for Austin, Quality Seafood is known for its freshness and quality seafood. You just can’t get any fresher than Quality Seafood unless you go to the coast and catch it yourself.

What do you like to do in your spare time? I like to fish, play disc golf, and play baseball.

What would your last meal be? Mac N Cheese

What is your favorite holiday to celebrate and why? Christmas has to be my favorite holiday because everyone is very jolly and giving. J
